This was actually a reversion story to the Catholic Church that her father brought the family into when she was a teenager. Andrea Boring is a Catholic wife, mom, web designer, blogger and speaker. She has passion for sharing stories of blessings, miracles and reflections to bring fallen away Catholics home, bring new souls to the church and revitalize active Catholics. She resides in Mesa, Arizona, with her husband David, and twin 5 year olds, Hayden and Logan. I’ve already had a number of great reviews of this show. Unfortunately, it got off to a rough start due to technical difficulties and ended about three minutes early, so you’ll hear two different starts of the podcast and end inconveniently. Nevertheless, I really think you’ll love it and draw from good fruit out of it. This is one conversion story that I believe everyone should hear. 01:14:00The David L Gray ShownoCatholic Church,Andrea Boring,Apologetics,Mormonism,Conversion StoryOn Sunday, June 23 2013, I had great conversation with Andrea Boring of the Modern Catholic Mom blog about her conversion from Mormonism to Catholicism. We had really interesting and full program talking about her conversion to the Catholic Church. Her journey to the Church came after periods of Agnosticism, secular pursuits, two years of studying Jehovah Witnessism, and Evangelical Catholicism. Ann talked about a number of occasions when God stepped out of eternity to encounter her and give her gentle nudges of graces.  The song heard at the end of the program is ‘Walking By Faith’. It was composed by Ann Ammar and a part of the ministry that God has given her and teammate Marianne. You can find out more details about her rich journey and some of the work she is doing at her blog (http://walkingwithourlord.wordpress.com/) and their website (http://www.walkingwithourjesus.com/) where Ann’s inspirational faith testimonies, spiritual poems, original songs and lyrics inspired by the Holy Spirit are contained  This was one of the most interesting conversion stories I've ever heard. Raylan is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Fix the Family - a lay Catholic Apostolate. We discussed Fix the Family's new video series currently in production, entitled, 'Resurrecting Manhood Today', which is geared toward men as husbands and fathers at the head of Catholic families and their particular God-given role in Catholic marriage.  I was able to probe Raylan about the first three installments (Manhood Today, Sole Provider, and Budgeting-Handling Money) in their video series, and we ending up have a very good conversation about the role that God has called husbands to from the very beginning. This role that men have been called to has not changed - God hasn't changed His mind about what He wants men to do, but society has changed and has attempted to diminish, devalue, and replace the proper function of the husband. This is why Raylan is teaching that it is necessary for us to Resurrect Manhood Today.  This was a very thought provoking broadcast with Raylan. Listening to the archived broadcast is definitely worth your while.  The song heard at the end of the program was "Rallegrati Maria". It is a very beautiful rendition of the Hail Mary Prayer sung in Italian; composed by Antonio Failla.01:03:00The David L Gray ShownoReligion,Catholic Church,Fix the Family,Marriage,RelationshipOn Friday, May 24, 2013, I had Raylan Alleman back on the show. We discussed the history, the atrocious murders of children born alive, and the ongoing trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell. During the last fifteen minutes of the show we brought on Bryan Kemper, President of Stand True Prolife Outreach and Director of Youth Outreach of Priests for Life, who was one of the key people responsible for the initiation of the #GOSNELL Tweet Fest that finally compelled the mainstream media to give some treatment to the Gosnell trial that they tried to cover up due to their allegiance to the abortion industry.  This was a very most informative broadcast that everyone should take a moment to listen to. Tony’s plight from utter despair to a life full of hope and personal victories happens when he asks a Science teacher to teach him to read. This story takes off when God challenges the teacher to choose: Tony’s life or her career. This was a really fun and vibrant broadcast. Constance’s book has so much depth about how God’s grace works to put allow each of us to be a Simon of Cyrene – to help our neighbor carry his cross.
