In the spirit of Nation Physical Fitness and Sports Month The Healing Place wants to raise
the heart rate of our community by encouraging everyone to get out, and get moving. We are
providing health tips on how to get fit for anyone who wants to increase their physical fitness;
from seasoned athletes to beginners. It is important that we stress the importance of physical
health as our community is plagued by preventable diseases such as diabetes and hyper tension,
which could be rectified by engaging in more physical activity and cutting back on some of the
foods we love.
