What is flash fiction? Tune in to Writestream Radio on Tuesday, May 10 at 1 p.m. Eastern when host Daria Anne welcomes Alice Woods Nelson and Carrie Zylka, founders and hosts of A Creative Mind Fiction Podcast

Alice Nelson is a wife and mother of three girls, which sometimes makes it hard to write amongst the chaos and insanity, but somehow she manages. For six years she’s been a staff writer for DVD Verdict, the leading DVD review site on the web. Alice is also as a contributing writer for the literary journal Short Fiction Break, and co moderator of The Writer’s Hangout, a flash fiction weekly writing contest on LinkedIn. In addition Alice has been a contributing writer for American Thinker, and has started her own short story blog called “Alice’s Wonderland.”

Carrie Zylka wants to live in a world where everyone knows what a podcast is and everyone subscribes to hers. A world where people immerse themselves in literature via spoken word. A world where audio books come bundled with Starbucks gift cards and laptop batteries never die.

As a writer with more than 200 podcast episodes published, 100+ shorts stories, 6 novels (3 that are actually completed and 3 she just pretends are done) and more than 1,000 articles written, she decided to combine her love of words with her love of audio.

During the interview, dial in with your questions at (347) 945-7246.
