Writestream Tuesday: 'A Splash of Kindness' with John Starley Allen

Allen is the author of the holiday novel Christmas Gifts, Christmas Voices and most recently has written a collection of true stories called A Splash of Kindness: The Ripple Effect of compassion, Courage & Character. He says he hopes his latest book will “empower people with the knowledge that they can make a positive difference in the world.”

In his new book, Allen talks about the lives of Jesse Owens, Oliver Wendell Holmes, Philo T. Farnsworth (inventor of television), and others.

He writes about how one woman organized an incredible mission of mercy for a Romanian orphanage.  And he talks about how a caring teacher changed his life.
