Let’s Talk: What Does It Take to Catapult Your Equity Work to The Next Level?

Is this live radio broadcast, Dr. Sonya Whitaker interviews Dr. Jason Ottley. Dr. Jason Ottley is the Executive Director for The Bond Educational Group; a non-profit organization that invests in the lives of underserved communities through education and entrepreneurship. He is a race scholar positioned to change the way schools and organizations function by revising policies and practices entrenched in white supremacy. As a college professor, he has over 15 years of extensive research in developing race conscious programs and culturally relevant pedagogy. Dr. Ottley holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from West Virginia University; a MEd degree in Special Education from George Mason University; and a BA degree in English from West Virginia University. 

During the broadcast Dr. Whitaker and Dr. Ottley will engage in a conversation about the importance of developing polices and implementing practices which move schools and districts closer to achieving  the goal of equity in education, and how you will know if you are making progress.
