Equity In Education: What Does ACCESS to STEM Have to Do With It?

In this broadcast Dr. Sonya Whitaker will interview Dr. Calvin Briggs Executive Director at the Southern Center for Broadening Participation in STEM: Education, Research, Leadership and Policy. It is during this conversation they will address what equity in education means as it relates to providing all students with access STEM Education.

They will also address the topic of "academic mindset" as it relates to helping teachers and administrators in developing plans to develop the mindsets of students so they believe that they are intellectuallycapable of grasping concepts in the area of STEM.
