I am very excited to be joined by Michael Mascha. Michael is the Founder of the Fine Water Society which was founded in 2008 to create a global forum and to further enhance the visibility of Fine Water and convey the idea that water is not just water but a natural product with terroir and unique characteristics. Michael also started with world renowed Water Sommelier, Martin Riese, the Fine Water Academy in August 2018. The idea for the Fine Water Academy is simple. Connecting the knowledge of the leading experts in the premium bottled water category with a digital distribution system to certify the next generation of Water Sommeliers and train people in the food & beverage category from around the world online. Michael is also the author of the amazing book Fine Waters, published in 2006. He holds a PhD in Anthropology and Communication Science from the University of Vienna and lives with his wife in Texas.
