Rebecca Pearce is responsible for driving the sustainability agenda in the EMEA region for CBRE, the worlds largest property services company. Rebecca leads sustainability strategy development and implementation, aligning their specialist teams across the region and embedding sustainability across the business to support clients throughout the property lifecycle. Rebecca works across all CBRE teams to create practical sustainability strategies for their clients to add value to their portfolio and their business. She also oversees the company’s regional corporate responsibility policy and commitments to environmental sustainability.

Rebecca is a qualified Architect, educated in Australia and UK, and has considerable international experience in the construction and property sector. She joined CBRE EMEA after 3.5 years in CBRE’s Pacific region where she established and headed up client sustainability services, and drove many of the company’s corporate commitments. Under her direction, CBRE New Zealand was awarded “Sustainability Initiative of the Year” at the RICS New Zealand Awards 2012.

Her previous roles include:

  • 2 years in the Middle East working with Sustainability Advisory Group
  • co-leadership of Westpac Banking Corporation’s Sustainability Strategy
  • Director of a medium sized Architecture practice in UK and subsequent leadership roles in architecture in Australia

In 2012 Rebecca was recognized with the Baulderstone Award for Contribution to Sustainability by the National Association of Women in Construction (Australia).

Rebecca is married and lives with her husband in London.
