Women Warriors - Enough Abuse

Coming up on Women Warriors (Wed, Nov 13 at Noon ET), our special guest, Marilyn Hawes, will be discussing the topic of “Enough Abuse: Understanding Child Sexual Abuse (CSE) and How to Protect Our Children.”  Whether you have children or not, this is a show you won’t want to miss.

Marilyn Hawes is the Founder of Enough Abuse. Enough Abuse provides the education in creating a better understanding and recognition of grooming to prevent Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation.  Marilyn Hawes set up the ‘Enough Abuse’ campaign to protect children and their families from the damage of sexual abuse through the education and understanding of grooming in 2003. Enough Abuse UK is a charity with a trading subsidiary EA Child Protection Ltd.  

Marilyn is a trained Music teacher with a unique experience of abuse as her children were victims of “Grooming” and sexual abuse by their Head Teacher. That same Head Teacher masqueraded under the guise of a reliable colleague and trusted personal family friend.

Marilyn passionately advocates the timely delivery of relevant information and education about ‘Grooming’ which is inherent in the abuse ‘culture’.  By raising people’s awareness she encourages them to address these issues to build a safer future for children and their families.
