We will be joined by Tanaya Winder- Editor-in-Chief, and Casandra Lopez- Managing Editor, of As Us Indigenous Women’s Literary Journal, which publishes works by underrepresented writers particularly indigenous women and women of color. The unheard voices that often do not get a rightful place in scholarship and media spaces.

As Us Indigenous Women’s Literary Journal provides this space, and serves as a showcase for the creative literary expressions and scholarly work of both emerging and established women writers from around the world.

Tanaya and Casandra will join us today to speak about this wonderful literally journal, the type of works that they publish, as well as engage in a discussion in the importance of providing a space for indigenous voices and those of other women of color.

Wombanist Views, created, produced, and co-hosted by Cherise Charleswell, is dedicated to broadcasting the voices of women who are doing positive and exciting things in their communities around-the-globe.
