THINGS THAT COME TO CHALLENGE OUR FAITH TO MAKE US STRONGER- SERIES

Death and Grief: The loss of a loved one, family member or someone who we admired, or had a special relationship with such as school associates, co-workers, neighbors and even community and social leaders, can make us take a second look and ask why did this happen to this person or my family? Be encouraged by listening to this program to help strengthen our faith in the time of personal crisis.

SCRIPTURE TEXT: (John 11:19)  And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. (11:20)  Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house. (11:21)  Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. (11:22)  But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. ( 11:23)  Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.

Life isn’t always a bed or roses, although it can be wonderful, life is full or challenges therefore we need to prepare ourselves so that we are not defeated by these hurdles and obstacles that may be thrown into our paths, or the raging storms that threatened our peaceful nature; no we must learn to coexist, become better and stronger.  We must learn to survive and move forward, to persevere in the face of opposition and not allow ourselves to become discouraged or frustrated, but rather more determined to be successful for whatever course we have set in this lifetime.
