Nationally recognized yoga teacher Alanna Kaivalya shares her love of sound and music that was so strong and so deep that it transended a hearing disability.  Through the encouragement of her parents, she overcame her challenges to now offer the beautiful music of devotion or kirtan to the yoga community and beyond.  Alanna talks in depth about her relationship to sound and how this has impacted her journey.

Alanna also shares her passion for mythology and connection to the work of Joseph Campbell as she pursues a PhD.
