We spoke with Kelly during the 28th Kelly McGillis Classic, January 2019, about her career in movies and on the stage, how she got into acting as well as some general “girl talk” conversation which includes laughs, sighs and sadness.

Kelly also played flag football and explained what it felt like playing in her own tournament as a “Loose Woman”. The early years of the tournament and how it has changed. In Sports – there can healthy competition and there can be destructive sports competition

Kelly shares what it was like to direct an “Evening of Monologues” during the Kelly McGillis Classic. For the event, Flag Football Players were invited to write a personal story, or read from an existing script , to then rehearse with Kelly. Players then performed in front of a live audience.
