Why was it that during segregation our fathers prospered? Even during the great depression of the 30's, black communities all over America were prospering. The black female had plenty of good brothers to choose from. We were educating our children to compete with anyone. We were developing a skilled and highly intellectual generation. Our institutions, though segretated were funcitioning on all cylinders, including the church. What happend? How can we return to excellence?
