The Big Time Talker Podcast powered by Speakermatch welcomes C. Becker, former medical technologist, educator, and author of Finding Euphoria to the show to give parents hope to persevere through the rampant drug epidemic hitting the nation.

The drug epidemic has touched many teenagers’ social circles, many to unaware parents. Other parents wish they were oblivious. Parents of children trapped in the addiction-drug cycle endure the pain. Often silently, parents suffer, ashamed, guilt-ridden.

While the world around these families feels hopeless, parents often provide support to those in the household so they can continue as a functioning family. Through adversity comes strength, and through strength, one finds happiness again.

Becker is not a stranger to the drug epidemic. She lives in a West Virginia county where arrests for bath salts, opioids, and now meth, are regular occurrences. As a parent and teacher, she is aware of the difficulties in keeping teens safe from drugs.

Becker’s experience testing drugs in clinical labs, teaching middle and high school students, and raising four children has increased her awareness of suffering through the hard times.

C. Becker is a speaker, teacher, medical technologist, and author of nine adult & children’s books, including her latest romantic thriller published by The Wild Rose Press, “Finding Euphoria.” Visit her online at http://cbeckerauthor.com/ or cbeckerauthor.com
