Today, the Church is under fire from multiple enemies but all too often, it is the apostates within who prove to be the most dangerous.
The gospel of Universalism--everyone will be saved--strikes at the very heart of Jesus' command to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel." If everyone will be saved, why do we need to tell them anything at all? And then there is the insidious lie--with the taint of Hinduism--that Christianity is just one of many equally good ways to get to heaven. But Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me." He refused to allow any compromise and He taught more on on hell than He ever did on heaven.
