TOPIC:  Follow Up "Ponce's Law" in Florida-Signed into law 10/01/2018 & Daytona PASSED proposal for Anti-Tethering and adequate shelter ordinance 09/23/20

Animal Rights Activists -Debbie Darino's accomplishments and here's a rundown of them:

• Ponce's Law that passed and took effect 10/1/18 F.S. 828.12
• Awarded as one of the "Top Ten Animal Defenders in America" 2019 by the ALDF.
• The county of Volusia wrote a Proclamation on Debbie and named a day after her.
• The town of Ponce Inlet presented Debbie with a Certificate of Appreciation for Ponce's Law.
• Animal abuse database PASSED for Volusia County and it even got an award from the Florida Association of Counties.
• Governor Rick Scott came to Ponce Inlet to do a ceremonial bill signing of her bill for Ponce's Law.
• On the Animal Control Advisory Board for Volusia County.
• Debbie is on these committees:  Companion Animal Committee, Criminal Law Committee and Legislative Committee for the Animal Section of the Florida Bar.
