As group consciousness becomes more prevalent in modern society, many people without realizing it are through thought and then intention part of the energy field which is self-sustaining and creates further growth from their original thought. It is called The 100th monkey effect, as was first discovered whilst observing a group of Japanese snow monkeys.
One monkey adopts a policy or an action, soon a second adopts the same policy, then more and more monkey’s adopt until it reaches critical mass and then pretty much from there on in there is no stopping it, all have adopted even the same species across the other side of the world.

We humans have used this realization to our own benefit and have called it The Maharishi effect, it was discovered that if one per cent of the square route of a local population meditated on lowering crime or reducing drunkenness or even reducing violence, then the outcome from that meditation must happen.
This has been proven in Washington DC where 4000 people gathered to meditate on lowering crime, they did this for 6 weeks, allowing for all the variables, weather, time of day, demographics and even took into consideration trends etc, the result still showed a massive reduction in violent crime. In UK, Liverpool which was regarded as having a high crime rate experienced the same outcome. During the war in Lebanon taking into account all the parameters, there was a drop in violence and death for the period of meditation focusing on peace.
So what does this mean, as a collective can we control the outcome of government policy? Can we create our own world and not leave it to chance? Does all this mean that we are one with all life forms including the universe?
All these questions are answered in the show The 100th monkey and Maharishi effect
