Did you find show business, or did show business find you?

On this episode of the VIP Ignite podcast, your host Deneen White is excited to introduce you to Victory Ledgerwood. Lady Victory has a strong background in modeling and acting. At the early age of 8 show business found her at a day care center in the Bronx. She was auditioned for an off-Broadway play which later went to cable TV. 

Victory studied acting at H.B. Studios (New York City)and with the Late great Robert Earl Jones doing community theatre productions. Since then, she has worked on several feature films such as “Strictly Business” and “Who’s the Man.” Ms. Victory later moved on and had a 10 year modeling career working for many N.Y. department stores including the 57th Street International Fashion Show. She also appeared in Black Hair Today Magazine and was featured in Class Magazine. She was a co-host on Goldie’s Hot Raps where many rappers careers blew up, including Salt-n-Pepper, Kid-n-Play, and Rob Base. Lady Victory, also known as Uniqua, served as both news and weather reporter on Youth in Progress Productions WNYE (91.5FM). In addition, she recorded a rap song on the legendary Sugarhill Records, has worked with a publishing company in NY doing jingles. She also recorded two voiceovers for Claymont Community Corporation, Channel 28 and displayed some of her talents including, motivational speaking, rapping and singing at the William Hicks Anderson Community Center. Ms. Victory  is currently refining rher acting skills taking classes in NYC.
