VC is indeed a complex topic. Many entrepreneurs with a greta idea dream of the day a VC firm hands them that $1 million investment check to get their business rolling on all cylinders. Some might say that the more outlandish the idea the better the chance of getting funding. But that's not the case.

There is also a lively conversation going on about the lack or women and minorities given opportunities for funding and conversely, being saught to join VC firms as investors and employees. Is this true?

Today my guests and I will clear up all of the myths and give best practices and tips for getting VC funding, preparing yourself to pitch, what it takes to become an investor (and how to level the playing field), and how to get more diversity on both sides of the VC fence. My guests Rachel Sheinbein, Scott Bryant and Martin Soorjoo have LOTS to share. Be sure you tune in (and take lots of notes)!
