The fiery furnaces of life take many forms: divorce, addiction, depression, sickness, and more. Melissa Daniels' fiery furnace took the form of her young daughter's leukemia. Ava's diagnosis came when she was just 2 years old, and was followed by 10 years of relapses and remissions, miracles and heartbreaks. In the furnace, Melissa and her family saw their faith ebb and flow, yet one thing they knew for sure: At all times, there was another in the fire with them, standing beside them.
