In our last episode before the Thanksgiving holiday, the Caring Moments podcast is hosting our first Gratitude Fest!

Several co-hosts will pop in to share personal elements of what they are grateful for during this extraordinary time in our lives, with the hope of inspiring you to find gratitude in the small, in the normal, in the mundane, the things we often take for granted, the overlooked.

As we reflect on the amazing year we are living in, regardless of what we are living in, seeking gratitude offers hope in the moment, appreciation for what is, and a springboard to give gratitude daily, not just save it for one special annual celebration.

The benefits of whether you learn to keep a Gratitude Journal, or just take a mental note of offering gratitude, or even saying grace at the dinner table, the proven psychological effects enhance your life in the most incredible ways. According to Psychology Today: there are 7 scientifically proven benefits, such as sleeping better, reduced aggression, better self-esteem, mental strength, and physical health.

We hope to inspire you to your best you, baby steps, baby! Start with gratitude.

One of my favorite quotes is by Albert Schweitzer, and I believe it to be fitting for today.

"At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us."

Have a safe, happy, joy-filled Thanksgiving. We at Unified Caring Association, a non-profit are grateful to all of you in more ways than can be listed here, so we will just say Thank You.
