Host Noah Kinsey, Rene Michelle Aranda, Amy J. Cordova, and returning panelist Craig Cunningham talk about the box office ripple effect - like how Tomorrowland and the Poltergeist affect the Tron and It projects, Cracked's article about how studios trying to duplicate Marvel's model might/will fail, and then they take on this week's special challenge. What makes it special? Well, every 10th show is the special Counterpoint episode. Each week we watch films considered to be "best films ever made." So for the Counterpoint episodes, the gang watches what are considered to be the "worst movies ever made" and discuss if they agree with that reputation. This Counterpoint episode is about the 1995 film from the director of Basic Instinct and Total Recall: Showgirls! So does the panel agree that it's one of the worst films ever made? The answer may (or may not) surprise you! Next week: Gone with the Wind (1939) Cracked's Marvel article: http://www.cracked.com/blog/5-reasons-its-impossible-to-recreate-marvels-movie-success/ Follow host Noah Kinsey: www.twitter.com/thenoahkinsey www.instagram.com/noahkinsey
