Gene Clegg has a history of conglomeration of tragedies that would have many of us asking, “God, where are you?” From being in the presence of a parent committing suicide to sexual molestation as a child to Vietnam and drug addiction to his own attempted suicide, God pulled this broken vessel out of the pit of despair. Repaired, restored, and with a renewed strength, he now boldly shares his journey and shouts from the rooftops who it was that saved him, mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually—Jesus Christ.

His heart is for the church and what he perceives to be its institutional state. In this episode, Gene joins host Sherrie Clark to share what he believes is needed to draw out those trapped within its institutional confines so that they can come to the place where Jesus wants and intended them to be.
