Isn't fulfillment what everyone is searching for?  But how do we achieve it?  Identify your strengths, your passions, your desires and your hopes.  That's easy enough, most of us can accomplish that.  The key to fulfillment is identifying what we are capable of and the ability to accept this Truth. What are my limitations?   This is the stumbling block for most of us.  The difficult task of setting boundaries, denial, and self-judgement. The awareness and acceptance of our capacity is the vital key to accomplishing self-realization. When the expectations we place on ourselves or when expectations placed on us by others exceed our capacity this leads to the struggle within ourself and the struggle with others. Have you ever heard the old saying, "you can't get blood from a turnip?" It's Truth. It is impossible to give what you don't have no matter how nobel your intention. Tonight's program offers us the opportunity to consider our own capacity and the demands or desires we have placed on those capacities. I would have to spend six years in an emotional, psychological, mental debilitating Dark Night of the Soul before the Universe would intervene supernaturally to set me free.  Free from what?  Free from myself! If I can shed light on what may be going on or give you a post-it-note of encouragement, that is what I hope I can accomplish. I am a wife, mother, grandmother -- I am closer to 60 than I am 50; and I still work fulltime even though I battle numerous chronic health conditions. I would not be where I am today spiritually, emotionally, and mentally had the Universe not put me in 'time-out' physically.  Sat me down, limiting my activities, limiting my energy, putting limits on me at every turn. It would be these limitations that allowed me to get still enough to recognize I had been deceived. What loving Creator could ever inflict this kind of pain onto one of its creations? What had I ever done to experience such darkness, loneliness, hopelessness and fear? The next 6 years, I would experience what many who have experienced a Kundalini Awakening as The Dark Night of the Soul. But I didn't have a name for it in 2006.  I had never heard of Kundalini and this wasn't the first tragedy I walked through.  At the age of 8, sitting on the front row of the funeral home in a navy blue sailor's dress, I had been told nothing about loved ones being wrapped in the arms of Jesus, nothing about St. Peter awaiting the souls of the beloved, I was a young 8 year old little girl whose Father had just suffered a massive heart attack and watched in horror as they closed the lid on the casket. Cummings (1894-1962) This battle continues still today, the most difficult decision you may ever make in your lifetime will be the decision to know your Truth at the risk of standing alone.  To achieve this Truth, life will ask you to step back from all that you believe and to observe and listen.  It is through observation and listening your Truth will begin to reveal itself to you.  This is the time of decision.  Will you believe your Truth or do you return to the illusion of other's beliefs? Tragedy, trauma, loss, death and a multitude of other life challenges are opportunities for you to seperate from what is familiar, what is safe, routine and comfortable.  A routine life is a lethargic life, similar to living life on life support.  Someone or something is providing for you, no effort on your part, no struggle,   You embark on a quest for Truth, prepare for a battle.  A battle within yourself, with loved ones, your perceptions, your preconceived ideas, and your belief systems.  This is a battle of epic porportion. Truth is not for the meek, the squimish.  Many who have shared their journey to Truth as one of "going down the rabbit hole". There is great peace to be found but there is also a great cost.  "There is no going back."
