Many of us allow the rejection and humiliation that we suffer to get the best of us. We refuse to rise and pursue our destiny because of the pain of the past. But that is not how our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ wants us to be. Consider the rejection and persecution the Lord of Glory suffered at the hands of sinful men, and the shame He went through. The Lord’s response to that was to ask God to forgive them, for they knew not what they did. He did not judge his persecutors. The Lord Jesus went to the cross, and died for sinful men. He fulfilled His purpose, and is now highly exalted in Heaven.
I want you to know and understand that whatever suffering or trials you may be going through, or however lowly your background may be from an earthly viewpoint, it does not have to hinder what God can accomplish in and through you. It pleases God to use those in His Kingdom whom the world has rejected. 1 Corinth 1:26-27:
For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
Let God be the Judge, and continue to pursue your life's purpose.
