Thursday night will be so exciting! On “The Race of Relations” inaugural show, the subject will be “Racial Tension in a Digital Age.” It’s been more prevalent as time passes on – people get caught showing exactly who they are on camera, it goes viral, it’s the topic of discussion for a couple of days and then things go back to exactly what they are. It’s almost gotten to the point where it is more important to have a camera than any time before. With the recent news of Amy Cooper and George Floyd, being documented has become more important than being right. It’s scary – It’s open season on people of color and racial politics is a digital world has absolutely become part of the conversation.

So what should people of color think of things now? Martins are becoming Malcolms and Malcolms are becoming Hueys as the climate of racial tension becomes thicker and thicker. People are on edge and rightfully so – individuals who have sat silent are now speaking up – on BOTH sides. The closet racists that looked at POC speculatively in stores are jumping on online platforms and showing racism’s ugly head. And as situations get deeper and deeper, the unrest of people of color sick of their men and women becoming hashtags is at its peak level of angst.

Join Nikia Miller on our FIRST SHOW! She’ll talk about how different the responses have been in today’s digital age and how recent cases for the last several years have tied into that demographic. It will be a fun and informative show with exciting commentary and a full dialogue with callers. Show starts at 8:00 PM – lines open at 7:45 PM. Call in at 347-884-9299 to either listen or chime in. Turn on, tune in, and turn the HELL UP for The Race of Relations” Inaugural Show!
