The final True Blue LA podcast of 2017 is here, with Jacob and Eric breaking down the accounting trade that was the Dodgers-Braves swap and the luxury tax implications involved.

Lots of guesses in this week’s show, including how long Matt Kemp will remain with the team in his second tenure in Los Angeles, where Adrian Gonzalez might sign, and whether the Dodgers will add another starting pitcher before spring training.

We talked about the missed opportunity of Giancarlo Stanton and the reasons for the Dodgers not trading for him, as well just what might be left this offseason. Jacob, who predicted an 11-2 final score in the Dodgers’ 11-1 win in Game 5 of the NLCS, put his prognostication reputation on the line with a thought on what a Clayton Kershaw contract extension with the Dodgers might look like.

Things turned to the holidays as well, with Christmas food traditions and holiday songs discussed, including the frightening assault that is Bob Dylan’s version of ‘Must Be Santa’.
