Rise Above It

Be the change in the world that we all need. Be the difference in another's life. Be the person that treat's another person better than they are treating you or walk away if you have to as to protect your soul house. Lashing back in NOT an option. I read this quote that said "we are not cave people anymore and couldnt agree more! We have gone past the days of cave man and cave woman.  We have evolved, so evolve already!We have the ability inside us to Rise above it. Let's not just stop there! Let's rise about it all. We are intelligent human beings. We have the capability and capacity inside us to do great and wonderous things. Turn off the tv, get off of facebook and do something powerful and porductive with your life! Help the homeless, honor a veteran, save a shelter animal on teh chopping block, open your heart to give. I know its scary. It's scary as hell! How do I know? I do it every damn day! Sometimes I get burned, soemtimes I get my wings singed a bit but that doesnt stop me and I hope it never does. We need earthly angels out htere making a difference. I love and will always love the Starfish story. It is about making a difference. People always tell me "You know you can't save them all" and I reply just like the gal in the story "Well, I made a difference to that one!"
