Today we are going to speak with Dr John Simon.
Dr. Simon has lived his entire life in Detroit, Michigan, where he has been the owner of the Woodside Animal Hospital and Bird Clinic for over 25 years. Dr. Simon attended Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He graduated with honors, and was elected into "Phi Zeta", the national honorary veterinary fraternity.
In 1982 Dr. Simon became Detroit's first certified veterinary acupuncturist. He has since received his diploma from the American Veterinary Chiropractics Association. Then in 2011 he became Michigan's first "in house pet stem cell therapist". He is also one of the original members of the Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV).
