Just about an hour south of Wisconsin’s state capital of Madison, you’ll find Monroe. This small town might not look like much to the casual observer, but it is home to hundreds of cheeses and the most master cheesemakers in Wisconsin. This week, Travel Today with Peter Greenberg comes to you from the Green County Cheese Days 100th Anniversary celebration. Normally populated with just over 10,000 people, Monroe will host over 100,000 visitors for this year’s festivities.

Stephanie Klett, the official Limburger Queen, sits down with us to talk about the “king of stinky cheeses.” Later, Master Cheesemaker, Jim Demeter, dives into the process of making cheese. As a fourth generation cheesemaker, he's been making cheese sine he was 14! All this and more on this week's episode of Travel Today with Peter Greenberg from the Green County Cheese Days 100th Anniversary in Monroe, Wisconsin.
