-drama/psychological thriller film "The Brave One," starring Jodie Foster. White was most recently seen in George Tillman, Jr.-directed biopic about the hip hop star Christopher Wallace/Biggie Smalls/The Notorious B.I.G. (portrayed by Jamal Woolard), "Notorious" (2009; co-starring Angela Bassett, Derek Luke, and Anthony Mackie). In the film, he portrayed Damion 'D-Roc' Butler, a friend of Biggie. About filming the movie and his character, White said, "Aww man, just busy right now I’m doing this Biggie Smalls bio pic called ‘Notorious’ so we been in the process of filming. It’s been a long process, we three weeks in but it’s been hectic. But it’s gonna be a great film. I play Damian D Rock Butler, Biggie Smalls best friend, confidant, the ones that brings out them things when problems arise. He’s his best friend since he was a little kid and he was with him until he passed away." He also revealed how he got that part, "I had a mutual friend that knew the casting director, and they knew my work. Last year I was in a film called ‘The Brave One’ with Jodie Foster and Terrence Howard so they saw my work and they wanted me to come in and read. I went in there and I did my dizzle, and it popped off. I murdered it!" White will soon be seen alongside Vincent Pastore in Arthur Alston's upcoming crime/drama film, "Code Blue." He is now working on La Monte Edwards' dramatic film "King of Paper Chasin'" with Lauren Hooper and Jason Rivera, as well as Zachary Winston Snygg and Hiroo Takaoka's comedy "Three Chris's" with Charles Durning and Erika Smith.
