Tough Talk Christian Radio with Host Tony Gambone and Special Guest Chante Dent
Chanté Dent is the Founder and Director of Earnest Love, Inc. She is a former Rape Crisis Counselor who received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from California State University, East Bay. She currently volunteers as a member of the RAINN Speakers Bureau. Chanté also volunteers her time to support birth mothers during and after the adoption process. As a young girl, Chanté was sexually abused by 2 of her cousins, and during adulthood, she experienced acquaintance rape, which resulted in pregnancy. It became her norm to sweep those traumatic events under the rug. During the beginning stages of her healing process from rape, she realized she had been wearing a mask, not dealing with the painful aftermath of sexual trauma. She quickly learned that if she were not free, indeed, she could not truly enjoy life. Her decision to heal, love, and live again is what compelled her to start Earnest Love, Inc. Since 2007, Chanté has devoted herself to helping victims of trauma transition from survivors to overcomers, to thrivers in life. To this day, her passion remains – to help others experience emotional freedom. Chanté enjoys all things outdoors; nature is her peaceful place. She resides in Suwanee, GA, with her husband and their two children.
One of Chanté’s favorite scriptures is 2 Corinthians 5:17, ”Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come..” She firmly believes that God can take your shattered pieces and create a beautiful masterpiece if you let Him. https://www.earnestlove.org
