Who are the Kurds ... and why are they "in the way"? Recep Erdogan?
Why did the US President, Donald Trump, on Sunday, October 6 -- without consultation with any of his intelligence agencies, or Pentagon advisors -- suddenly give in to Erdogan's long-standing political demands, that he be given "free rein" to send his army into Northern Syria, to "once and for all, clean out the Kurds?"

Why -- after the Kurds lost over 11 thousand men and women, fighting shoulder to shoulder with the United States armed forces in Syria and Iraq, against Islamic State terrorists across the Middle East -- did the President of the United States suddenly ... coldly ... disastrously ... turn his back on an ethnic population which has been a steadfast ally of ours since the beginnings of the 2001 "War on Terror?"And how, after such a blatant, public and non-erasable betrayal of such long-standing steadfast allies, can the rest of the world ever trust the diplomatic or military word of the United States again?!

And, how is Vladimir Putin ... and Russia ... the obvious "winner" in all this?
