What do those of us who are Christian leaders say or what platitudes do we recite? How do we feel reassuring? Tragedies like Katrina and Sandy are not storms we plan for or really expect. Storms are not reated by us or controlled by us but they affect us in many ways. There are so few things that we can do to protect ourselves and our property from the storm. So how do we as leaders leade in a crisis? Tom Landry, the great coach of the Cowboy's football team, once said, "Leadership is a matter of having people look at you and gain confidence, seeing hwo you react. If you're in control, they're in control"
