As one of the largest dog rescues in the world, I'd say we're pretty savvy when it comes to knowing what's best for our dogs. In my opinion, our adoption guidelines are very fair and we've adopted out dogs to those from all walks of life. Whether you live in a trailer park to a semi-truck, as long as the environment is safe and happy...we are good!
Our adoption requirements are on our website are BIG AS THE "F'N" DAY! So then, why do people feel that they are "above the law" and despite their situation being completely against our guidelines, do they insist on trying to get a dog from us and then get bent out of shape when their adoption application is denied?
Between the nasty emails saying they are going to "expose us" to sobbing phone calls begging for one of our dogs, these are the people who swear up and down that we are the only place to get a dog from...umm...I'm pretty sure that's not true. We aren't the only show in town (okay I intended that pun) so why then are you acting like a jerk?
In this podcast episode, I admit, I "unleash" my frustration on these kinds of people who are obviously just pining over the fact that they didn't get a dog from the "people on TV". There is just no other explanation for acting like a blubbering idiot.
