"TIA TORRES - UNMUZZLED" As the matriarch figure of the long-running reality show on Animal Planet, "Pit Bulls & Parolees", there is more to Tia Torres than just "dogs". Between her two-legged "wolf pack" and their offspring to the chaos of working on the most REAL reality show on the air, there are no "days off" for this fireball of Scotch/Irish descent. Balancing in her passion for prison reform and her harem of former felon ex-husbands, there is never a dull moment in the Torres den. And then there's her constant war with Mother Nature. Talk about the "battle of the bitches". Tia Torres - Unmuzzled will drag you into the "other side" of Tia. It is not for the overly sensitive or politically correct. If your "feels" get hurt easily, then this is NOT the show for you. Tia Torres shoots straight from the hip and doesn't hold back. And whether it's dogs, inmates or women's independence, she will always fight for the underdog! So "bullies" beware, this is a woman with a bite!

I was warned. Back in 2007, when producers first approached me on the idea of having a reality show that focused on our rescue efforts. They explained that things would get REALLY different once we came out on TV. Nah....I didn't... more

I remember the day (like...12 years ago?) when we were told that we were being given our own realtiy/docu-series on Animal Planet. We couldn't wait to start sporting new merch that we had planned out with a name that we had picked:... more

Having a TV show for as long as we've had, it has its perks and then there are the curses. Sadly it's human nature to look at us as though we are "not human" and peole seem to forget that we are the same people that started Villalobos... more
