There are people out there, millions of them in fact, who are terrified of making food and dietary choices for themselves. They don’t eat sugar, because, of course, we know how awful that stuff is. They won’t eat bread or any kind of grains. They refuse to eat butter, eggs, drink a glass of milk, or eat a piece of meat because they’ve been convinced that all are straight from the pits of hell; that the rest of us are just a spoon or forkful away from cancer, heart disease, and stroke. Maybe they read the China Study or watched documentaries like Fork Over Knives, or more recently, What The Health. Maybe they believe that anything over 50 grams of carbohydrates will make them fat, or worse, will kill them.
