Hell of a conversation with Damon Cortesi from Social Media Analytics platform Simply Measured.

Everyone meet Damon, Damon meet everyone:  

He started off professional life as an information security consultant. He spent several years focusing on host and network security in the financial and technology industries, eventually moving into web application security and PCI compliance. 

When he got tired of breaking things, he began building them. With a passion for analytics, he built TweetStats.com in the early days of Twitter. Damon says, "I couldn't stop building Twitter apps and eventually started a company in social app development".

He's now CTO and co-founder at Simply Measured, where we help make big data easily accessible to marketers and PR professionals.
