Singer-Songwriter Series: Matt Weston's Tragic Losses Fuel His Passion for Music

Matt Weston, an incredibly talented singer and musician in our Singer-Songwriter series, has overcome several hardships in his life that shape his music today. Music was always a part of Matt's life. His earliest memories were of listening to Elvis records with his father, and the love continued into college when he started singing. However, Matt was pursuing an engineering career at the time, and it wasn't until much later that he realized that the arts were where his passions lied. When Matt's father became sick, he had to make several life changes, but the tragedies overcame fueled his passion for singing and songwriting even more.
