From which we learn:  At Inspirational Mama we understand the decision to start and expand your family is an exciting time. But, when pregnancy does not happen as expected, stress and pressure can arise; leaving you feeling lost and alone. Time after time women do not seek the support that is essential and needed while on their family building journey because of shame and fear. This saddens us to think of any women suffering.   Becoming a mother is supposed to be one of the happiest times of your life and Inspirational Mama is dedicated to bringing the joy back in to your family building experience.00:33:00This Week in Fertiltynomolly nichols,RESOLVE,fertility, infertility, pregnancyOn the Thursday, April 26th, 2012 broadcast, at 2:30 PM Pacific/5:30PM Eastern women's health advocate and moderator Kim Whittemore @kimwhit chats with Molly NBaby Quest Foundation | National Infertility Awareness Weekhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/this-week-in-fertility/2012/04/25/this-week-in-fertility-national-infertility-awareness-weekHealthhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/this-week-in-fertility/2012/04/25/this-week-in-fertility-national-infertility-awareness-week/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/this-week-in-fertility/2012/04/25/this-week-in-fertility-national-infertility-awareness-weekWed, 25 Apr 2012 21:30:00 GMTBaby Quest Foundation | National Infertility Awareness Week On the Wednesday, April 25th, 2012 broadcast, at 2:30 PM Pacific/5:30PM Eastern women's health advocate and moderator Kim Whittemore @kimwhit chats with Pamela Hirsch, Co-founder of Baby Quest Foundation, for details, click here. Formed in 2011 by Pamela Hirsch and her daughter, Nicole Lawson, Baby Quest is dedicated to helping those who cannot afford the high cost of infertility treatments such as IUI, IVF, and /or surrogacy. Pamela's journey begins here: "For nearly three years, I watched my daughter endure countless procedures – successful IVF’s ending in miscarriage, uterine surgeries, and hormone injections. Each attempt ended in heartbreak. Our story has a happy ending, however, because we were able to help with the cost of hiring a surrogate. I think of how fortunate we are each time I set my eyes on our adorable granddaughter. Then one morning late in 2011, I woke up suddenly and had a troubled thought. Suppose we couldn’t have helped Nicole and Josh financially? How would I have dealt with the inability of my daughter to have her own child simply because the procedures were too costly and not covered by insurance? This would not be acceptable. And…..therefore, Baby Quest was born. It is not easy to battle the demon of infertility. We are up against insurance companies who refuse to cover procedures and drug companies whose prices are astronomical. Whereas there are private groups and governmental agencies that deal with adoption and foster children, there are few companies, if any, that fund procedures for physical intervention in pregnancy. If you know someone who has been touched by infertility or if you cannot imagine life without your children or grandchildren, I hope you will support us." Join us! The show is produced by FertilityOptions.org and is principally moderated by women’s health activist, ‘e-patient’, self-ascribed ‘insultant’, & social media diva extraordinaire Kim Whittemore. In the narrative matters department, on the first broadcast we’ll hear all about Kim’s standing in this conversation given her personal journey into infertility at a very early age. Then we’ll meet the Shamus Husheer, Ph.D., Founder, CEO and President of a UK based unique biometric fertility monitoring system known as DuoFertility.  For context via a BBC documentary piece in the ‘Britain’s Next New Thing’ series, click here. If you have a moment, you may want to answer a few questions via the ‘suitability tool’ to see if you are a candidate for DuoFertility’s program. Non-invasive, and a fraction of the cost of IVF procedures with comparable if not superior results this is a technology worth a look. We’ll learn more from Dr. Husheer & walk through an overview of NIAW activities. Do consider joining us on this maiden voyage. 00:32:00This Week in FertiltynoNIAW,fertility, infertility, womens health, resolveOn the inaugural broadcast of ‘this week in fertility’ on Tuesday, April 17th, 2012 at 1PM Pacific/4PM Eastern we are launching a ‘countdown series’ of timely
