In this powerful series we are calling the "Black & Blue" edition of the Thinking Out Loud Radio Show we are discussing the compelling and griping Netflix docuseries directed by Award-Winning Dir. Ava DuVernay entitled "When They See Us." This is the story of the Central Park Five which happened 30yrs ago in New York City. And, we are having this discussion with a good friend and colleague, Atty & Pastor Boyd White. This is part 1 of a 2 part discussion we had breaking down some of the insights, and the nuances of this powerful series with this powerful young brother. This young man has dedicated most of his adult life to the cause of young people, and more specifically our inner city youth. Recently starting his own ministry called "The Ark",  Boyd’s mission is to convey a holisitc perspecitve of Jesus Christ through dynamic teaching a collaborative ministry approach, the Church can be most responsive to the problems people are facing in various aspects of life. During tonight's show we will be sharing clips from the movie as well as statements made by Dir. Ava DuVerNay about the Criminal Justice System and a whole lot more.
