Have you been feeling a little down lately? Do you know someone who could use a “hope lift?” If so, listen to this Think Hope Podcast with Hopeologist Dr. Rosalind Tompkins as she chats with Apostle Daryle Robinson about moving from Despair to Hope. Through the Practice of Hopeology we learn how to think, speak, imagine, and share, hope. These practical self-help principles will transform your life! During this episode Hopeologist Rosalind also shares testimonials from the recent Hope for the Holidays Hope Immersion Retreat and a Hope Thought that will equip you on your journey of hope.

Here are Seven Steps to help you Move from Despair to Hope:

1. Determine the cause of your despair. Be brutally honest; this requires self-evaluation and knowing that no one else is responsible for your feelings and emotions but you.

2. Confirm with someone you trust that you are on the right track in identifying the source of your despair.

3. Plan your strategy to move from despair to hope.

4. Set goals. See yourself completing your plan. Believe you can.

5. Focus on the result. Don’t get distracted.

6. Pray and ask God for help.

7. Reach out to people who believe in your potential and who are willing to empower, not control, you along the way.
