Our guest this week is a well-known figure in the atheist blogosphere and skeptic’s movement. Ms. Greta Christina has been an activist for 10 years now. She writes and speaks on atheism, LGBT issues, feminism, politics, culture, and sex-positive attitudes, lately at her new home on Freethought Blogs. She is on the Speaker’s Bureau for the Center for Inquiry and the Secular Student Alliance. Having contributed to the anthology, Everything You Know About God Is Wrong, she has recently published her own book, Why Are You Atheists So Angry?: 99 Things That Piss Off The Godless. Offering a defense of why atheists are angry and explaining why they should be angry, this book is highly recommended for both atheists looking to defend their anger and for theists looking for insights into that anger. We asked Ms. Christina to join us to discuss the book, what motivates her activism, and what the community of skeptics of religion can do to further the movement.
