Dr. David Deamer is a biochemist at the University of California Santa Cruz and the NASA Astrobiology Institute working on the role of membranes in the origin of cellular life on Earth. His research over the last 30 years has contributed greatly to solving t riddle of abiogenesis. He is the author of the newly published First Life: Discovering the Connections between Stars, Cells, and How Life Began. Dr. Deamer joins us to talk about the latest research into the origin of life on Earth.
