Dr. Buonomano is a Professor of Neurobiology and Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research explores the neural basis of learning and memory and how the brain processes and tells time. His new book is Brain Bugs does what the subtitle says, showing how the brain’s flaws shape our lives. The book illuminates the causes and consequences of these bugs in terms of the brain's innermost workings and their evolutionary purposes.
