We may be approaching the dawn of last land speed record of all time, and there's a high probability if completed it will certainly be the very last of our time. There are a lot of questions to answer first.... What kind of machine is capable of 1000 mph on the surface of the Earth? Where can this be done? What kind of lunatic would drive such a vehicle? Are there competitors? We find the answers to all of those, from a man responsible for much of the engineering mastery it's taken to move the project along this far. We are honored to be joined by Bloodhound SCC Design Engineer Mark Elvin, who gives us an unprecedented inside look at this amazing effort. Stunned by the data we've uncovered, we begin to understand why in a salt pan of Northern Cape, South Africa in 2016 we will witness all previous notions of land speed disappear in the shockwaves of Andy Green's 1000 mph run. Thank you for tuning in and for your continued support!
