Writing novels, fiction, inspirational manuscript, scripts, screenplays, blogs, professional blogging, articles, columns, and journaling must first be mentally examined; internally investigated, mentally researched, and mentally approved. Everything is not to be written and printed. However, the power of the gathered material is pivotal when writing along with mental editing before the actual editing and final editing ahead of the official publication. Truly, my first shared writing experienced happened at the age of seven. Securing my balance on the edge of a swing-sofa on My Big Mama and Little Mama's front porch; I reached for a black crayon as a first-time first-grader being exciting about writing a sentence and understanding the parts of a paragraph I felt elated to write a public paragraph. As I balanced my stand I wrote with my black crayon a large expanded paragraph on the front of my grannies' white frame home. My Big Mama laughed, but My Little Mama turned dark purple with her purse hanging on her left wrist as her right hand was tightly positioned on her right hip. Laughing and afraid on the inside; I paused awaiting the fortunate end to My Little Mama's furious anger at the moment. Can you image? The profound power of creative writing is creating characters, scenes, and highlights that rivet the readers capturing their attention to squeeze each word, each chapter, and each character with a mental literary embrace.
