Call in to speak with the host
Our guest this morning is Kim Siehl, Executive Director for Grades of Green. Kim has an impressive range of non-profit and for-profit experience.
Kim has also started up and led for-profit entrepreneurial ventures within diverse industries such as medical supplies, investments, hospitality, and retail. In her current role, Kim has done an amazing job of increasing the fundraising pipeline and building new relationships that are benefitting Grades of Green in the present and for many years to come.
Kim is a longtime resident of the South Bay with strong ties to the community. Her children attended Grand View Elementary, where Grades of Green started. As a local business owner, she opened the doors to the first bookstore-coffee shop in Manhattan Beach, The Hungry Mind.
Kim has a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Economics from UCLA and took extensive coursework in Economics and English Literature at Cambridge University, England. Kim is proud to have many USC Grads as close friends (except during football season).
This morning, we’ll learn how Grades of Green works and how it benefits the community.
