Our guests this morning are Lisa Hemmat-Lupercio, Owner of Lido di Manhattan Restaurant in Manhattan Beach, and Nancy Vrankovic, Operating Partner of Sausal in El Segundo. Nancy began her career as Director of Catering and Special Events with Simms Restaurants in 2010. It was the perfect opportunity to combine the things she loves most – hospitality and guest services – with a chance to do something she’d never done before, build a business from the ground up. She left Simms as Director Marketing and PR in 2016, and was excited to team up with Chef Anne at Sausal.
Lisa took over management of the Italian-Californian fusion style restaurant,With a genuine belief in Lido's enormous potential, she has revamped the atmosphere and liven up the restaurant with special events, happy hours, live music and wine tastings, all fueled by an energetic kitchen staff and an innovative new outlook.
Today we’ll be talking with Lisa and Nancy about the impact COVID has had on their restaurant operations, and ways they are innovating to address the issues.
Lisa and Nancy, welcome to the program – we are so glad you could join us this morning.
